Balakrishna Gopinath is head of operations at STS, where he works with our operations, customer care and fleet teams across the company. In this role, he is responsible for driving development across the company’s operations as well as mentoring and leading the well-established and talented operations team. He helps teams across the company scale through improved execution frameworks, analytics, and operations practices, ensuring that team operating models evolve to support STS’s rapid growth ambitions.
Gopinath started his professional career as a manager in the retail industry working for various companies over the years. A passionate transportation professional, he has more than 35 years of experience, of which 20 years is in road passenger transportation, planning, providing and design of key transportation projects for educational instructions, events, tourism & hospitality industry, and corporates, municipalities & governmental organizations. His experience has given him an extensive knowledge of the industry and an ability to handle the demands of our customers and projects, efficiently and safely, and experience developing services and high performance service management, Operations teams to execute.
